Inclusive Dance Classes For All Abilities
Welcome to Kukan Emerge, a non-profit organization designed to serve all persons who may consider that they can never be able to dance. Kukan Emerge is a tuition-free, inclusive dance program and welcomes all persons who may need help in cognitive, physical, emotional, or mental stages.
Our dance classes can be easily adapted by all participants, with the goal to enhance the capability and ability of each person. Fill out the short form below for more information!
Dancers can expect to benefit from the Kukan Emerge classes in a variety of ways :
- Have fun
- Enhance physical abilities and motor skills
- Increase the strength and flexibility of each student’s possible skills
- Enhance the mental development, emotional stability, and discovery of self
- Enhance musicality, locomotion, and spatial orientation
- Establish confidence and social skills
To unify the purposes above, dancers will be brought to the stage to perform. As a result, they will experience the joy of self-expression and the confidence to perform in front of an audience.
Class structure and divisions:
2 age divisions: 6-12 years old | 13 years old and up
Level of needs of help: With discussion, the class will be determined. If any special attention will be needed, privates may be applied.
Recommended attendance: 1-2 times per week per student
